Bull Matrix Posted January 9, 2010 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 16,501 Reputation: 2,951 Days Won: 43 Joined: 01/04/2003 Share Posted January 9, 2010 A lot of things come into play here.1) TTU is offering more money2) USF was late in the game with Tuberville3) Tuberville and Leavitt are good friends, so maybe Tuberville feels that USF wronged Leavitt about the firing4) Maybe USF is aiming at different candidates, so Tuberville new he had to jump on the TTU opportunity.The best thing that comes out of this is that USF wont have to worry about the TTU opening when they are doing negotiations on hiring a new coach which could save money on the bargaining.
