Not sure if this has been posted yet, but...

Heard from the inside on Saturday while making my rounds of the suites that the Band Director has been whacked like Big ***** on "The Sopranos".  Reason given?  None.  But after four straight games of "Bohemian Rhapsody", I think we can all guess why.

Plus, that Dave Matthews Band "Ants Marching" rendition on Saturday totally sucked.

I cringe every time i hear them play that aweful song.

I thought band folk are suppose to be creative... is that the only song they know?  ::)

Who knows?  The first time was interesting... the second time was boring... the FOURTH time made me want to gouge my eyes out with a ball point pen.

Oh, and in my first post, by "whacked" I mean "dismissed from employment."   ;D

isnt there someone on here close to or in the band....  I remember someone saying that they were going to perform something different after they did this crap the second time....   And about time they got rid of whoever is in charge of the band, they are truly pathetic.

our band should be banned from playing next year against FAMU and forced to watch and take notes

Brian Hayman knows the inside on the band. To be honest, I've never seen so much crap given to the band or time on the message board. I thought they were one of the better parts of the games when I went to school here (****, was it really that long ago). And during game day, they got us fired up... the drum section rocked. How things have changed. When we lose... sh_t rolls down hill!
