Danm1983 Posted October 24, 2009 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 2,994 Reputation: 151 Days Won: 4 Joined: 08/20/2009 Share Posted October 24, 2009 who would have thought that at 5-2, we'd need just 2 more wins for bowl eligibility and have major concerns about even getting there?best case: lose to WVU and uConn; win against Rutgers (helps the thurs night confidence), L'ville, and Miami (the team that played FSU shows up out of the blue and impresses). 8-4 and 2-5 in conference equals the pizza or st pete bowl against a no name team, coach hating mob dies down until next year when we get blown out at UF (since people will expect us to beat them too).worst case: we beat L'ville and lose the rest of those games, finish 6-6 and 1-5 in conference, no bowl game. usf fans contemplate jumping from skyway. we get a new OC, but nothing really changes at this point. another top 25 recruiting class yields the 4th straight mid year collapse, fans riot in the stadium.
