The talk here earlier that the BE will be adding a new bowl will come to fruition at 2 p.m. eastern - per a release made earlier today.

Yep, ESPN says that it will be the Orlando Champs Bowl. No more Gator, #2 would go to Champs followed by Sun, Meineke and most likely PapaJohns and StPete. I doubt we'll keep the International. I guess it depends on the Notre Dame deal.

GA states that following, "The Champs agreement will pit the Big East against an ACC team, and is expected to include Notre Dame as an option instead of a Big East school once during the upcoming four-year bowl period."

ugh, still with the ND?!?!?

At least a bowl in Orlando will be better-attended than El Paso...or so I hope (see last year's bowl)

Confirmed as Champs for #2 team.  ND once in four years.  No word yet on Sun.

that's a fun bowl, lot better than Bham if you guys aren't in the BCS...despite being an old stadium, I like the design of it w/ the few lakes around it that you can tailgate by....and Downtown Orlando has a lot of activities at the bars for the 2 bowl participants

Agreed 813Knight, however, the adjacent neighborhoods are not fan friendly.
