souldn't this be asked at the end of a season and not at the start.

You really have a hard on for CJL. What did he sleep with the Mrs. Smazza or something?

Will smazza ever be held accountable by his clients or his bosses for wasting God knows how many potentially billable hours with 56,000 incoherent posts on this board?

Shouldn't this be asked at the end of 10 or 15 seasons?  Not after 2 in C-USA and 4 in the Big East...

No because he is really a Rutgers and USC fan.  He just comes on this site to complain and irritate all of us.

YES, he will.

If the Bull's NEVER win a BE title during his tenure, he will be held accountable.

BUT...

not today.

With the Big East in the condition it is, if USF doesn't win the conference once in the next 3 or 4 years then a serious fault exists.

"FAULT"...what the f**K are you talking about?  Let's back down with the accusations, or callous finger pointing, we're not trying him for a crime here, if in 3-4 years we're still void of a conference championship then a change may someday be considered.  But he still needs tons of props, even if that day arrives, for being the architect of this program, and leader that got us where we are today.  Leavitt will never be a 'failure' EVER at USF, even if that day comes in 5 years and we still haven't won a championship-- what he's done, has been critical because him staying here has given us real consistency during the lean years, and brought good talent in here because of his consistency.  he could have jumped ship early to other schools, and who knows what we would have had, and where we would be...

However, most fans agree that it will come by then, but it is clearly in the back of everyone's mind.  Although, most also agree he deserves another 3-4 years in the present state, when the budget is high, fan support is high, recognition is high, to see if he can raise the recruiting, and play to where it needs to be.  I for one believe that within 5 years we'll be talking about multiple conference championships.

people are ridiculous. leavitt has introduced USF to the nation through an increasingly prominent football program. He has drawn a vocal and excited student body and created university pride. He has, in 13 years, built USF football.

13 years ago if you said "in 13 years we better be at the top of a BCS conference" EVERYONE here would admit that is a huge stretch. how quickly people forget.

If no conference championship comes, people will look back and say he hit a plateau, and took the program as far as he could, which is pretty **** far. he will never be a failure and i think we all owe him and the entire football program a little more respect.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
