White Helmets or Gold Helmets?

Oddly enough, when Penn State wears all white it looks cool and classy. When Oregon does it, it just looks.....stupid.

Maybe it's because of the font for the numbers being so strange

I like both.  I think it is cool to shake it up and sometimes go gold, sometimes white...  Depends on the rest of the uniform that day.

I wonder, though, if you change it a lot, does it negatively impact the players (ie QB throw to a WR)?

Maybe, and this is just a guess, it is becasue Penn State is BLUE and WHITE!!!!!  If they wore black helmets it would look stupid, it is not their colors.  When Oregon wheres white it looks stupid, it is not their colors (now the rest of those hideous designs is another story).

I like the white but I think they need a little tweeking, like adding gold between the green and the black on the logo and the stripes.

Our gold helmet beat USC's helmet in the ESPN helmet challenge. 

That must mean we have to keep them!

we look like michigan state with the white helmets. they wear white pants and green shirts (like us). even though they wear GREEN helmets, its still a very very similar look.

the gold distinguishes us.
