Hard to believe there are any WORSE QB's than what we have... but there are.

Out of 244 QB's, PJ is ranked 151st and RB is ranked 184th - based on QB Rating.

http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegefootball/playerrankings/regularseason/QB?&print_rows=9999

Base it on completion percentage, and PJ falls to 210th!

Remember, there are only 117 teams in college football.

UGH.

Other notable C-USA QB's:

 LeFors - UofL = #13

 Hackney - UAB = #29

 Guidugli - Cin - #42

 Wimprine - Mem = #52

 Hassell - TCU = #68

 Brohm - UofL = #90

 Gunn - TCU = #94

 Pinkney - ECU = #97

 Dahman - Army = #114

His rating would have been much better with out drop balls.  I am not saying he is a great QB but you gotta catch balls that hit you in the chest and Joe Bain hasnt done it.

1/3 coaching

1/3 system

1/3 player

change the coaching and system and the next player will prosper. leave coaching and system in place and we will ruin other QB's

PJ is ranked 151st and RB is ranked 184th.

Is that nationally or just in Conference USA?

they're not gonna toss away Loius G's redshirt for:

A.) a wasted season anyways, and...

B.) they probably feel he needs to develop more before he can see playing time.

Now I disagree with the offensive system like all of you, and I also believe we seriously need a QB, but you gotta remember this is a TEAM sport. There's 11 guys out there for every play, not just one. We need an overall improvement in offense, and just trying to grab for anything that will help only slightly in this waste of a season would be the real waste. Let him develop, let Leavitt do his job, and let their be a new OC with a sparkling new offense next year free of the Usual Suspects (Julmiste and Banks)  ;D

If Gachette was better than Julmiste and Banks, he'd already be playing. Period, end of discussion.

Yeah, and how do you know he isn't better if he has never had a chance?  Game time is different than practice time.  Not end of discussion.

that may be true namuh, but there are strong indicators in practice that can tell whether or not a QB is ready to play in a game. Most notably, in the mental side of the game; he can be the next Michael Vick for all I care, but if he can never get the plays right when they're called in, he'll ride the pine
