That is right, I forgot...If somehow/someway UL is high enough they will not take the Liberty Bowl bid and take a BCS spot.  BUT, alot would have to happen...like every major conference team will have to lose 3 games for a BSC bowl take a 1 loss mid-major.

If a non-BCS team is ranked 6th or higher in the BCS ranking, they get an automatic bid.

Yes I would too...but it is a BIG BUT

That's a bigger butt than my grandmother's!

Absolutely NO WAY a one loss non-bcs team gets in.  The computer polls would shoot them down because of SOS and most voters would drop them quickly with one loss.

Thats the point a 1 loss mid-major cannot bust the BCS...The big schools and TV networks won't let it.  Now if UL beat Miami and won out big well then they would be the David...

If they beat miami and won out, they would be more than David... they'd be Goliath.  They would be a top5 team with championship game consideration (although they wouldn't get it unless 3 other teams choked down the stretch).

Louisville is currently #17 in the BCS poll.  Here are some games that may help their cause:

#9 Georgia v. #4 Auburn

#10 Texas v. #14 Texas A&M

#10 Texas v. #19 Oklahoma State

#14 Texas A&M v. #2 Oklahoma

#1 Arizona State v. #8 Cal

#16 Virginia v. #3 Miami

#16 Virginia v. #22 Virginia Tech

They probably won't make it to 6th, but they might get to tenth.

If Utah wins out they will have a better chance at busting the BCS than UL.

Utah is ranked 6th in the BCS.  They should bust the BCS with an undefeated season.  UL's chance was knocked out of thier hands by Brock Berlin.  They might finish Top 10 but there will be no BCS for CUSA.

I have to believe Utah will lose somewhere down the line.

Utah only has 4 games left - all in conference and all very winnable (is that a word?).  Best team left on schedule is a 4-4 BYU.
