I heard from a gator fan after his recent visit to UF last month that he is waiting to see if he can make the grades for UF, if not he will be ours. Don't know if there is any truth to that.

well, hopefully he's in tough classes

Waiting until february is not good news for us. I think we can count him out, would love to have him but doesnt look good.

On the contrary I think it will be good for us.  He wont make or break UF's recruiting.  His injury may have UF take a look at the next guy on their list and slightly cut back on his recruitment.

Waiting till february will be better than right after the national championship.  It will let that UF hype die down a little.

I hope you are right!

Yes because UF, like most football powers, has a history of rejecting good players who meet NCAA minimum standards.

I agree. Having a low grades is not going to determine whether they accept him or not. If he meets the NCAA minimums he will get accepted to UF. At UF football comes before low grades.

Ryne delaying the decision gives him a chance to take an official visit here.  If CJL and the staff play their cards right they could get him to commit on the visit.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
