Based on our previous years in the big east, are there any guesses as to the order of next year's conference games?  I haven't studied past schedules to see a pattern, but just from memory, it seems like we play wvu at home early in the season and away later in the season.  Seems like we played cinci in november in tampa both years, and also syracuse on the road in nov both years.

Any guesses as to a schedule for next year?  I know the OOC is already done.

the WVU changes from early in the season to late in the season didn't have anything to do with home or away.  The big east thought that we would be the 2 teams playing for a BCS game and wanted to have it at the end of the year.

Actually they wanted USF/Rutgers as the last Thursday game.

WVU/Usf was added when the ACC said no

Let's just hope those jack@$$ schedule makers don't give us two Thursday games, after road games, before bye weeks.

would the result have been different if we played games on a different day?

would usf be in bcs championship game had we played everygame on a saturday?

Only time will tell... some teams just suck for no reason on certain days, look at the pro's there are a lot of them that can't win on Monday Night Football while some can't seem to win on Sunday nights, etc. etc.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
