Of all the teams from our CUSA years, I've always liked TCU.  They were the class of the league.  They knew the league was a dead end and jumped ship.  Too bad they are too far west for the Big East.

TCU is my number 1 choice to bring in to the BE if there is an expansion.

I have been repeating this everywhere.

They are NOT too far west.  DFW is closer to Loiusville and Cincy than Tampa is.  Understand that fact people.

Airplanes get to anywhere and DFW has one of the best/biggest airports.

DFW is absolutely a monster of a metro area (3X bigger than Orlando).  Lock it down by bringing in TCU.

A big name in football that is good almost every year.

A no brainer if there ever was one, if the BE expands.

I'd argue that they are too far west simply because our conference is called the Big EAST, and they are west of the Mississippi, the typical line of demarcation for east vs. west in the US. That said, simple name conflicts don't stop Xavier or St. Louis from being in the A-10, or the Big Ten from having 11 members.

Or the University of South Florida from being in West-Central Florida.

The problem is that Louisville and Cincy are already a stretch geographically.  Any further west is just absurd.  We play in the Big EAST, understand that fact.

I'd rather not... Their tailgating scene is as bad as Army's. There is a reason they are called Texas Christian University. Let's stick to universities in the Big East that know how to have a good game day experience (WVU, Cinci, Louisville, etc).

NOT NECESSARILY

we live in a global village

if tcu and another texas team joined with a massive infusion of texas cash i see it working but what do we do with basketball

i say get rid of non football members already and build a real conference

and kick ND the F^&k out

You have to admit, there's some irony here. Go University of "South" Florida!!
