Let me clarify that I would LOVE the entire student section to be as rowdy as the 1st row of the section is.

I was complaining about the people who have never been to a game before who push their way down into the 1st row and think they own the place. Like I said, my boys were standing 3 deep in 1 row.

You can be rowdy, and I VERY MUCH encourage it, without being a **** to your fellow fans.

What's up with the band's lack of playing? They play a total of 3 different songs/chants and they are only about every 20 minutes or so.....who decides when they can and can't play?

it's actually not the band's control on when they can or cannot play.  the director has a headset radio that some kind of official tells them when they can play.  so if you want to blame somebody for the band not playing often, blame the official (whoever it is)

I don't sit over there so can't comment on how the energy is up close BUT in the past 3 years that section has exploded in size and from afar the energy there is great! That whole section looks packed to the hilt, I have never seen it like that and that is even after moving the band OUT of that area!

If the student turnout continues to grow at the rate it is we will be selling out the stadim in the very near future....I just can't say anything but positives over the students and the way they are starting to support their team!

Our band SUCKS!!!!  They never play any songs to get the crowd into the game, they never play during time-outs, they never learn any new songs . . . Most high school bands in the area know more songs than them  ::)

At least our band is better than Miami's.  It seems that they play either their fight song or the 'dynamite' song we played in High School.  When they do play them, it sounds like a high school band, too.

In terms of what I heard, our musicianship is better.  Miami had some severe intonation problems and a smaller variety of incidental music.

No fooling.
