All by his lonesome he took the emotion out of 50k fans....INSTANTLY!

Way to go!!!!

That guy is a joke. Get him off the field, for good.

And for the argument...but he is such a great punter....Brandon Baker was better, and I am sure Petrov couldn't do much worse.

All aspects of his game are just awful (except for his weird haircuts, those are just silly).

Get him out of here and away from USF football. Forever.

at this point i blame the coaching staff

What killed the momentum was Pitt scoring in about 3 plays.  Had he not kicked it out of bounds would it have taken 4?

wow

you are a defending  him

Tough crowd.  The backup kickoff specialist kicks one out of bounds, and the loss is all his fault.  We must be a great team if the rest of the team was perfect.

They got the ball at the 40 instead of the 25.  If they can go 60 yards to score in three plays, I doubt the extra 15 yards would have kept them out of the endzone.

It's not Delbert's fault the defense gave up 800 yards in 3 plays. The game was won and the defense came up short. You can't blame a kid who is on the field for all of 20 seconds the entire game for a loss. The defense gave up 26 points and you can't do that if you want to win.

It would also help if the supposedly high powered offense would score more than 14.

Yep.

245 yards??

At home??

Against Pitt??

Who lost to Bowling Green??

In Pittsburgh??

Yuck.

Nevermind the fact that SYRACUSE was able to put up 24 points on Pitt.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
