UConn sure comes up with some ugly wins, but they do come up with the W's.

Edsall is a great detail oriented coach. They'll always lack style points, but somehow they pull out the W's despite often looking like the worse team.

I'm developing a hatred toward UConn and the way they win, lol.

Did I say that I thought Louisville's D is better than ours?! I simply think it is going to be harder than you think to stop Donald Brown!

I didn't say it was going to be easy, but there have been numerous posts proclaiming this guy to be the second coming. He's good, but I think our D can stop him.

He's just the type of back that we traditionally have trouble stopping.

When people give arguments based on our run defense to date (which includes no good running teams) it doesn't help that we'll stop Brown "just because" you have confidence in our team. Any particulars you'd like to cite on why we'll do such a good job stopping him?

Reasons we won't stop Brown: 1. we traditionally have problems with the type of back he is, 2. he's dominated good run defenses, 3. we're banged up on the interior and thin there, this problem won't become less evident as the season goes on.

I think we win this game, but the only way Brown doesn't get 100+ yards against us is if we open up the game quickly, ala UCF.

And you're giving your argument based on what we have done in the past.

Particulars? I think our interior of the DL is better than last year. That is reason enough alone why I think we can play well against him. I don't think he'd do much going outside with our speed there.

Perhaps UCONN will get the top 20 ranking they deserve now at 5-0.

We can only hope.  The Big East desperately need another ranked team!

Depending on what happens today, would say that they are 50/50 of being Top 25.

Losing their QB(not sure how long) could have an effect.

AT UNC & Rutgers could make them 7-0 heading into Cincy.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
