Maybe Mike Jenkins has a younger brother who would like to walk on?

sure, Marcus had a fabulous game against TN-Martin but come on...it was TN-Martin.

he looked SLOW out there tonight and cost us a lot of field position.

i hope Leavitt opens the punt return job in practice this week.

Marcus has great hands and I'm not too worried about a Muffed catch from him but at the same time...with all our team speed there is no excuse for us to be that slow back there.

Marcus is slow, he used strictly for hands....not for big plays.  Our other punt returners aren't trust worthy yet on catching the ball on a regular basis.

Edwards is horrible at returning punts. I have been screaming for somebody different for over a year!

Marcus is not slow, he just takes too long to make a decision on when to run.  To be an effective PR you need to have a fast first step, make your cut, and get up the field.  Marcus does not do this effectively.  On Theo's only return, he caught the ball and was off and running immediately.  That's why he scored.  The more you stand around (dancing) the more time you give the coverage to close in on you and shut down any lanes.

Marcus is not hurting us because he's securing the ball, not losing yardage, and making good fielding decisions.  He's not a threat to score or get a long return.  Having said that, I doubt CJL will replace him unless a mistake is made like muffing a kick.

He can not dance too much on the return.. Ask Devin Hester.

Maybe he's showing off his dance moves by laying a foundation for a future gig on 'Dancing with the Stars"

Nate looked pretty **** fast with the football in his hands! :)

Wouldn't want to risk his injury though.

Every time I watch a game on TV I hear how Carlton Mitchell is the fastest guy on the team.  He's a receiver so I assume he can catch the ball.  But he isn't used on returning kicks.

I'm happy that Marcus catches the ball but he doesn't seem to have that breakaway speed.  I can live with him.  Kansas made some great tackles and sometimes you have to give the other team credit.
