I'm sorry about your loss. We lost Ranger, 12-year-old Golden, about a month ago. I've had dogs my entire life, and simply put, he was THE BEST DOG that I have ever been around - and, he was my girlfriend's dog - not mine.

Maybe it's time for another? I know it's tough, but there are a lot of wonderful "homeless" dogs out there that would be greatful for a loving home.

1.  I watched the first hour since I'd never watched a debate before.  I'm relatively unbiased, especially since I don't live in the U.S. anymore, but as far as public speaking goes, Kerry was a much more confident and controlled debater.  Does this make him a better president?  Beats me, but he's definitely better at speaking than Bush, who looked uncomfortable throughout the whole debate.
