Pressure up the middle is a QB's worst nightmare. The only problem is that Kansas is experienced at Center and Guard. Not so much at Tackle. Hope the coaches are stressing this week getting hands up if the pass rush can't get to Reesing. I know he is short for a QB.So was UCF, Hafferty, Lavoie, and Devane were all seniors. Lavoie was the starting guard all last year and started two games at center, and Hafferty is a WVU transfer. Devane a senior is just starting. UCF was big, and experienced too, but honestly our DT's man-handled them. UCF made it a point that they were not going to get sacked like they have against us the past three years, last year Selvie had 1, but Aaron Harris had 2.5 against them...so they rolled the pocket, quick hits, and throws, lots of running. The DT's were relentless persuing, going with the pocket, and shutting down the runs. McClain is great, and Genus, isn't quite the athlete of McClain but he's a big ole bear. Twice I saw little RB's trying to run by him and he put a paw on them and just stopped them dead in their tracks. Perfect for NG!

A big strong run stuffer in Genus and a big athletic freak in McClain.
