Watched the replay last night, and McClain deserves his own thread.  He consistently blew up the UCF O-Line.  He plays with a good motor too and showed great quickness numerous times.  There were a couple times he and Genus were in together.  I can see him being first team Big East before too long.

Dude blew up a screen play for no gain all by himself!  For a DT that's some serious stuff!  Dude was amazing, and a star is born in him.

Marshall too, we all talk about Bedford but this guy makes plays and gets 'it'.  He is efficient getting to the QB, unlike Buie, and appears able to read and react quickly to what's transpiring in front of him.  All good traits for a DE.

That's not surprising, considering he got SIX stars from Max Emfinger.  ;)

USF's Defensive Line is going to be a problem for opposing teams.  If teams continue to double team 250 lb George Selvie off the edge then 300 lb Terrell McClain is going to cause some problems straight up the middle.

our success is going to much depend on his play given that Selvie will keep recieving doubles.

Him and the rest of the d-tackle rotation need to have a big game and really collapse the pocket this week.

I agree.  Pressure up the middle is a QB's worst nightmare.  The only problem is that Kansas is experienced at Center and Guard.  Not so much at Tackle.

Hope the coaches are stressing this week getting hands up if the pass rush can't get to Reesing.  I know he is short for a QB.

One of the problems I saw with our rush against Greco was we were crashing straight toward the QB and had no contain.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
