I thought the Times did a pretty good job in today's paper.

The Times and Trib gear their coverages to the Gayturds and Semiholes too much

Nice thats better than the LOCAL papers did in TAMPA (you know where the schools located)

Nice job Trib (official Paper) and the Times

well they also dont have a LOCAL team or ANY team that has as many LOCAL players.  i just love that they are getting fans involved down there.  do we have anyone from that region on FSU or UF?  I dont think so.  i know javarius james from Miami is from down there. 

so because they have more local players than Tampa its ok they covered the BULLS better than the Trib and Times.

no that is not what i said.  (actually tampa bay still has more LOCAL players on the bulls than FT myers)

but Ft Myers is still a growing city so when one of the players gets on a BCS offer its a big deal.  but when you got like 7 on ONE team its a HUGE deal.

News-Press did a great job.  lets leave it at that.  no need to bring up the Times or Trib on this thread

Dont fool yourself FT Myers has had kids going to D-I programs for years. Also when papers outside the Bay Area cover the Bulls better that the trib and times it is a reason to bring (knock on them) them up

maybe you shouldnt fool yourself.  i am from ft myers i can name a pretty long list about guys making splashes in D-1 football that are from there.  my point was...NEVER has 1 BCS team had as MANY kids as USF.

i remember when jammi germen when to Miami and everyone thought he was gonna be the next Deion.

also cliff robertson came from baron collier and when to Auburn.

or when Earnest when to UF.

Eligh Hicks went to UF but then ended up at USF.

i went to school with Ant and he was the BENCHMARK for USF recruiting down there.

so trust me...im not "fooling" myself.

im just saying...keep this thread about what a great job the Ft Myers newspress is doing and not what times or trib could do.
