USF is starting high enough in the polls and their schedule sets up in such a way that they could go 10-2 and still get an at-large BCS bid. Notre Dame won't win the nine-games required to be eligible. So that leaves just one at large slot for a team from the Pac 10, Big 10, and Big East. (No way the ACC get's two teams into the BCS).Will Oregon or Arizona State finish strong enough behind USC? Can Wisconsin or Illinois finish with only a loss to Ohio State?Sure, footballs bounce funny sometimes (See 2007)... but I don't see USF as a second Big East pick if there are alternatives from the Pac 10 or Big 10 available.JMHO.
