Anybody remember venues that we played in long, long ago?

As a kid I remember seeing USF at the old Curtis "Drew" Hixon hall downtown and I THINK I even remember a game or two over at HCC that my dad dragged me to.

I also remember going to games when I was REAL young at the old Howell Gymnasium at Cass St. and Boulevard, but that might have been a UT game and my memory fails me.  Anyone remember if we actually did play at Howell?

Oh, and how about the Sportatorium at Kennedy Blvd and Albany St.  Oh, wait, that was NWA professional wresting.  My bad.

Any other venue memories out there?  (No wise arse away game answers either!!   ;D)

...and then they invented the wheel, and it was a lot easier to travel.

Too early in time for me...

I remember reading about the Bulls traveling home show when I was in high school, but fortunately the Sun Dome was opened when I got to USF and I never had to go to any of the other venues.  As I recall, they played home games in four different facilities.

I also seem to have some thought that they might have played a few games in Lakeland.  Probably at the LCC, the place where those of us over 40 had to drive all the way to for concerts.

I remember they played a game at the Bayfront Center in St. Pete 5-6 years ago.  That was a joke!

The 5 years before the Sun Dome opened, I went to basketball games at Lakeland civic center, Bayfront center, State fairgrounds expo hall, Curtis Hixon hall and the Gym on campus.  I remember sometimes WUSF TV would show replays of the games late at night.

I remember Curtis Hixon.  I was @ USF (living on campus) when they built the Sun Dome.
