What happens to it? If the new owners of the trop site demolish the stadium, very possible.....

This is one of those things that is here for a few years/months and then gone just as fast.

They will play at any local adjoining stadium that can accommodate 40k

My guess would be that the new Rays stadium if built will be the new site for the bowl.  Even if it's not in St. Pete.  They'll change the name or something.

I read before when they were coming up with the bowl that if they build a new stadium that the game will be held at the new stadium.

They have said that the new stadium will accommodate the St Pete Bowl.  The only time they will have to have it offsite is the one year that will overlap between the demolition of the Trop and the completion of the new stadium.

They are not demolishing the Trop.  It is one of the coolest stadiums in Baseball.  You D'Rays don't know how nice you have it with that beautiful indoor facility!!!  The Marlins Win 2 World Series Championships in 10 years of existence and still have to beg to get a stadium of their own.

I'm sorry...I love JoeRobbie/Pro-Player/Dolphin Stadium and all, but watching the Marlins there sucks!!!  The Fish need their own TANK!!!

GO BULLS!!!

You have your opinion, and I have mine.  My opinion is that the Trop sucks for baseball.  It's great for home shows.

I still disagree, but to each his own.

baseball isn't the same unless you play outside.

Baseball isn't the same in less played outside??  That is rediculous...

The only problem with the trop is the location, but it's hardly bad for baseball.
