FIU) to take hard look at a "big" program like USC.Imagine if the Mayo and Bush fiascos took place at FAU . . . or USF for that matter . . . . . it'd be no post season or televised games for five years and a fraction of the cholarships.Sadly USC is probably most worried of their APR hit from Mayo's defection after one year. In fact, they just might address Bush at the same time, as this could be enough to indicate a lack of institutional control...

If you can make money, then more power to you. Though if you're a coach on a team with a player making big money, like mayo or bush there must be signs. If mayo regularly gets picked up by his "friend" in a $50k+ car, then that's a red flag. Bush may not have been as obvious as mayo, but they need some sort of punishment.USC need ATLEAST a slap on t he wrist. A loss of scholarships to let the coaches there know it is there responsibility to monitor this sort of situation, which will set up a major penalty if there is a recurrence.
