"Mike Jenkins/CB/Dallas /1st round: Jenkins was top 15 talent but turned off a number of people with his attitude leading up to the draft. He's always been productive on the field and offers the Cowboys starting potential."

I must have missed the attitude. ????

I'm not really sure what they are talking about. It could be that Mike came across as not being to outgoing and that was taken the wrong way.

If you remember there was a long article with a picture of Stephen Nicholas attending a special camp where he learned how to properly handle interviews and other things that would come up at the combine. Perhaps, Mike didn't bother to attend that and was unprepared to handle that phase of the process.

Either way, he's about to start drawing a much bigger paycheck than I.

Pundits:  When they are paid to say or write something about a topic or person and there is nothing to say . . . . . they still write or say something.

I think part of this is because he pulled out of the Senior Bowl.  I think he proved his talent on the field during the season and didn't need to risk injury in this game.  I think the media tagged him as a prima donna because of this.  I was shocked to hear a few radio guys talking about his "character" issues, when you have a guy who fails 3 drug tests getting drafted ahead of him.

Probably shouldn't go there, but here goes...  >:D

In that same article under Reaches was this as well.

Josh Sitton/OL/Green Bay/4th round: Sitton was rated by almost everyone as a free agent and was never seriously considered in the middle rounds by any team.

He is the lineman from UCF that got drafted.

the only thing I can think of attitude was in withdrawn they mat have thought he was which is more about him being not too outgoing/introverted in general.

I think I would rather have someone be themself instead of putting on an act just for appearance sake.

I don't like that word attitude--- pretty poor choice of a description unless it came directly from teams regarding their specific impressions. Sorry-- this is not Neon Deion Sanders-- this is Mike Jenkins

both usf and the cowboys would want a deion sanders(best corner ever)

how many cbs choosen ahead of mj?
