With the Eagles taking D.Jackson from Cal who is a great return guy could spell bad news for J.R. Reed

Maybe...we'll see.  They can fight for it.  Reed is a vet who was also DRAFTED.  So we'll see...

They'll fight.

Pro teams can be a little leary of risking a top pick to injury on the return team - gotta see how his training camp plays out....J.R. might not be out the door because of this pick

J.R. was a Bull during my time as a student, but after that freak incident/injury with the dog and the fence, its obvious he lost a step or two.  I was surprised he was picked up last year and would not be surprised if he is out the door this year.

If that acciden never occurred Im sure he would still be a return specialist on some NFL team.  Good luck to him this year.

D. Jackson was a top ten play guy on sportscenter this past year a lot.  eagles fan are very excited about this pick.  Not good news for JR/

I don't know much about the eagles situation, but JR looked good at safety last year for the eagles in the one game I saw of the Eagles.

Jackson certainly isn't playing safety, so even if Reed loses the return duties to jackson, he still has value at safetly for Philly.

Dog? I never heard anything about a dog

Maybe my memory is off or I was given the wrong information at the time of the accident.  but I thought JR injured himself by hopping a fence when a dog was attacking him.  Is that right??

JR looked good lat year at safety and runs very well- he had a special brace made for him that allows him to run

I heard about the hopping a fence but never heard anything about a dog. Still very sketchy/odd situation
