Orlando, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) – UCF Athletics Association (UCFAA) officials announced on Tuesday that its 2008 home football contest with the University of South Florida will be moved to Saturday, Sept. 6. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. and be nationally televised on ESPN2. The game was previously scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5.

Bright House Networks Stadium should be rocking with another sellout on Sept. 6, 2008.

"The change in schedule was done to accommodate an ESPN request," UCF Director of Athletics Keith Tribble said. "We expect that this Saturday night nationally-televised meeting with USF at Bright House Networks Stadium on Sept. 6 will be an instant classic."

they watched last years game... no one had to tell them anything.

And for what it is worth, they are getting media there because we are coming to them.

With the game moving to Saturday, maybe we'll be able to go.  Friday wasn't gonna work for us.  Even if I don't go, I still like this better.  I don't like Friday games unless they're at home.
