If I counted correctly, there are 8 running backs leaving college early to enter this year's draft... that doesn't even count any of the good rb's that are seniors.  That's a lot of backs isn't it??   (by the way, USF played agaist 4 of the 8 this year)

Sucks for you guys bullhog...losing both of them...

I'm sure you'll find another stud though.

Happy to see Rice, Slaton, Reynaud all leaving, even though it weakens the conference a bit.

I'd imagine the Buccaneers will take a back somewhere in the draft (2nd round??).  As long as they don't take Kevin Smith -- he's already proven that he can't run at raymond james stadium  :D ;D :D ;D

why would the Bucs waste such a high draft pick when Earnest Graham was one of the best backs in the league when he came in... and they will get cadillac back.  they have a lot of other holes to fill before they even think about RB

Because they need a game breaker and Cadi is not that and Graham is only 4 yards and no cloud.

I believe pittman's contract is up this offseason, and I doubt we renew it, so a 3rd round pick on an RB wouldnt be a bad thing, he could split carries with Graham (and Cadaillac if he comes back from his busted knee).

1st and 2nd round picks need to be spent on a DB and a WR

There is no guarantee that cadillac comes back this year or comes back 100%.  That was a bad knee injury that could chance the type of runner he is.

I was thinking the same thing about Cadillac.  I'm not sure if he'll come back from his injury or not.  If not, at best we'd need a #2 back unless Michael Bennett is good but just doesn't know the playbook yet.

I'd love to see Mike Jenkins or Trae Williams at DB for the bucs...  Is WR very deep in this year's draft?
