No it doesn't, it rarely sells out.  I have family that lives there, & I have followed those games for over 20 yrs. Check your info.

Yeah, well I have a friend who writes a blog from his mom's basement, and he says that aliens will invade El Paso on New Year's Eve, causing a sell out of the Sun Bowl.  :

It sells out, but is one of the worst games when it comes to making money. They do give away a lot of tix.

it probably hasnt changed much from the 4000.  bowl game tickets usually sell a ton right when they go on sale and then die off a lot.  its not like you are gonna get a huge bump the day of the game out of the USF allotment or anything.  people pretty much had their mind made up that they were going or not going right after it was announced.

How are ticket sales going overall for the bowl game? Will it be sold out?

So far, 48,200 tickets have been sold for the game. If the remaining 2,300 tickets are sold, the television blackout will be lifted, and the game and will be televised on Channel 4-KDBC (cable Channel 3).
