Could be.  He was their DC for a few years.  Unlike the situation with Rodriguez, Schiano and Leavitt, I think when it comes down to it, The UCONN situation for Edsall is simply a job.  Whereas Rodriguez is a WVU alum and native, Schiano is a NJ guy and Leavitt is a Bay area guy, Edsall is a Syracuse alum and a PA native.  If GT offers him the job, it is probably a bigger, more prestigious job for him without the home ties built in at UCONN.

He knows his luck is eventually going to run out at UCONN.  The azz whooping by WVU was probably the start of the demise.

He lost just two games, finished second in BE and pulled down the Car Care bowl for his (and the Huskies) efforts.  A flawed but second place Yellow Jackets team pulled in the Gator Bowl last year.

I'd bet he takes the gig in ATL.

Additionally, Chan Gailey did not leave the cupboard bare.  So I believe Edsall could get off to a good start at Tech.
