With LSU losing, could Kansas (if they win out) and WVa (if they win out) be in the title game? Then USF would play both teams from this year's title game next year, which would be awesome.

that's assuming most of their players will return.. if WVU returns slaton (pretty sure white will come back), they will be top 5 if they win out and go to the NC.  todd reesing will come back for kansas because he is too small for the NFL.. so, i predict 2 top 5 teams on our schedule next year if both teams get to the NC.

That is what I am hoping for as a USF fan. To have both Kansas and WVU make the title game will be pretty poweful for USF's schedule next season.

that's assuming most of their players will return.. if WVU returns slaton (pretty sure white will come back), they will be top 5 if they win out and go to the NC.  todd reesing will come back for kansas because he is too small for the NFL.. so, i predict 2 top 5 teams on our schedule next year if both teams get to the NC.

If Kansas and WV go to the title game, we'd have both 2008 teams from the title game on our schedule.  Regardless of their ranking next year.

Kansas will need a lot of help from Jesus, and maybe a little Virgin Mary and Allah thrown in, to make it thru Mizzou and the B12CG without a loss.

they are certainly capable of doing it though

its definetely possible, but im not sold on Kansas yet...  their schedule thus far has been barely more impressive than Hawaii's.

one win over a 24th ranked KState (which, BTW, is no longer ranked) isnt exactly a gauntlet...

today is their first real test. we'll see how it goes.  it would certainly be nice for us to have both NC contenders on our schedule next season.

Exactly.  This is what I'm hoping for. If we beat last year's champion (it will be "last year's champ" when we play them) AND runner up, that would be simply amazing for us

I agree with that. Kansas hasn't really played anybody yet, but IF (big IF) they win out, they deserve to be in the NC game

definetely... theyll have wins over a Top 5 Mizzou and a Top 10 Oklahoma to cap off the season.

just gotta see it happen first.
