We need to root WVU to win title for the BigEast and everyone know we are the only one team who beat them!!

AR kansas is at 33rd and we are at 23rd... with us winning it would be hard for them to jump us I would think. Even then, i would think WV winning the national championship would be much better for USF/Big East than maybe 2 or 3 spots in the final BCS rank.

Question: If USF ended up only losing to Rutgers this season and ended up winning the Big East, would WVU be eligible for the title game if they were top two in the BCS? Its a moot point now i'm just curious to know if you can technically play for the NC and not win your conference.

At this late date what's good for WVU is good for USF/BE in general.

Yes. It is possible to play for the NC if you don't win your conference.

Yes. It is possible to play for the NC if you don't win your conference.

Oklahoma did it. Lost to kstate in the big 12 championship and got killed by usc at the rose bowl.

The last 3 years les miles called it R kansas. Said it like its spelled. I wish mcfadden could win the heisman but don't see it happening.
