I sit in section 233, 5 sections down from the band, and can not hear them 1 bit.  They need to move to the endzone, so both sides of the stadium can hear them.  The acoustics in RJS are not meant for college football bands, so seating placement of the band needs to be experimented with.  The current location does not work.

The student section at one end and the band at the other is a great idea. the noise level would be awesome. Also you could increase the student section to include the corners thus making it impossible to hear play calls. My vote: Band should be in the middle of the South endzone.

So yes, H.O.T. seemed not so hot this past game.

Anyone from band...can you let us know if you played less for the UofL game?

Didn't feel any different from my end... my lips were definitely telling me I had played too much by the end of the game.

I have no problem hearing them and I sit behind them in 239.  Walking around the stadium I can hear them from every angle.  Don't know about the upper decks though.  I appreciated them playing to the East stands at halftime this game.  They have gotten better each and every year.  Go HOT!  Some bulls are just hard of hearing, I guess.

2. The Away band (when they come) in in the south East Corner

Now that you said that I think I'm wrong no season tickets their but That could change with the UD being opened
