I didn't like losing to those teams any more than you did Steve, but penalties and 'lack of discipline' had little to nothing to do with those losses.  Turnovers...that's another topic.

I was at the game, from where I sitting contact was made before he went out of bounds. The momentum carried it a ways out.. It was a border line call IMO..  USF runs an aggressive defense, so all those border line calls are gonna be made against them..  I would want a defense that plays to the whistle... And didn't hear one on that play.... And I agree the flag was lobbied for...

Im pretty sure in the begining of the season they showed a stat saying like over the last 3 yrs USF was the most penalized team in college football..

I remember seeing a stat once that the University of Miami was one of the most penalized teams in the country year after year when they were ranked in the top 10 consistently.
