Georgetown travels as the fifth seed in the Blue Division after posting a 5-5-1 conference record. The Hoyas are 7-10-1 overall, including a 4-5-0 record against common opponents with USF.USF boasts a 7-1-0 record at home this year. Georgetown is 3-5-0 on the road in 2007.As a team, Georgetown has one of the toughest defenses in the conference. The Hoyas have countered off their stout defense and produced 14 goals on the offensive side of the pitch. At the back end of the Georgetown D is goalie Matthew Brutto, who is only allowing 0.74 goals per game. The squad is led by freshman forward Chandler Diggs, who has amassed nine points on three goals and three assists. Junior defender Sean Bellomy follows Diggs with eight points on three goals and two assists. Conversely, the Bulls' offense has carried the team with 33 scores this year and a scoring offense that is 21st in the nation, averaging 1.94 goals a game. USF has four players with double-digit points.Senior Simon Schoendorf continues his career-year; leading USF in goals (7) assists (9) and points (23). All three totals are personal-bests. Junior Jordan Seabrook follows with 17 points on five goals and seven helpers. Seabrook’s classmate Kevon Neaves, and freshman Bernardo Anor round out the Bulls’ scoring leaders with 15 and 14 points, respectively.Goalkeepers Diego Restrepo and Jeff Attinella have combined for seven shutouts and a goals-allowed-average of just 0.84 this season.Wednesday’s game marks the third time in as many years that the Bulls have hosted a BIG EAST Championship match since joining the league in 2005. USF defeated West Virginia 4-1 in a quarterfinal match that year and beat Seton Hall 5-1 in first round action last season.USF and Georgetown are playing for the right to travel to Storrs, Connecticut, and a game against the Blue Division champion and No. 1 team in the country, UConn on Sat., Nov. 10. The Huskies dealt USF its only home loss this season with a 2-1 come-from-behind win on Sept. 21.Tickets to all USF home matches are $5 for adults, $3 for youth 16-and-under and $2 for groups of 10 or more.
