or 4-0, 3-1, or 2-2.  But they are 1-3.  It is what it is.  Thanks again Smazza for your astute look at things.

That's what I was saying about all these yahoos (apparently including Leavitt himself who was playing the "if" game and saying we could be 9-0) yesterday.  If these yokels want to play the "if game" in one direction, then its only fair to play it in both directions.  And if you start doing that, you can see that we could easily be 3-6 rather than 6-3.  if WVU and Auburn could have held on to the ball, we could have easily lost those two games.  If the refs didn't hand us the ball at FAU on that phantom kick-catch interference call in the 4th quarter, the Owls would have been driving for the winning score with under 4:00 to play and we likely would have lost that game.

Nope.  Don't start playing the "if game" with this team - the results are too disappointing.

"If" can go any way you want it to.  We could be undefeated, winless, or anywhere in between.  So what?

Go Bulls!

Big deal.  We get 1 break in any game and we are 9-0.  Uconn can/should just as easily have 3 losses.  2 of them were gifts.  A bobbled pass and LSU isn't a #2 ranked team.  Another 1/2 inch at the goal line and Oregon is undefeated.  The freshman QB for Cal throws the ball out of bounds and they kick a FG to win before time expires.  Michigan makes the FG against Appy State and they are probably in the top right now.  You can go on and on.

Saying we could just as easily be 0-4 in conference is silly.  Any team can say that.

we're 6-3. IF things went our way, we're 9-0. IF things didn't go our way we're 3-6, possibly worse. but those things didn't happen, so hello 6-3.
