We'd win the BE going to a BCS bowl as the champ.  WV would get an at large.

Reason why I'm so angry about it is because it was an ugly game...heavily influenced by the refs.

Now back to enjoying NYC I go.

That would be correct, because that would mean they beat Rutgers, giving them 2 losses.

However if Rutgers wins out they win.

If WVU wins out and USF wins out.

USF goes to a BCS bowl, probably Orange Bowl against Florida Gators.

WVU goes to New Orleans for the National Championship against Oklahoma

GL with that. They will bash your SOS just like they did us.

Actually I am afraid that could be the case, problem is LSU would have to lose again and if USC wins out they would get back in there.

a 1 loss big east team doesn not make the national title game.

but, USF still  has a great shot at BCS bowl.  Rutgers will need to lose 1 more conference game but their toughest games are still ahead of them with WVU and Louisville.

We just need to worry about winning our next game vs UConn.  Uconn is in first place in the big east right now (well until tonight, i dont see them beating Louisville)

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
