That is two years in a row where we lost to them but could have won it in the final minutes.  I am pissed.

also the 2nd year in a row that the better team won.

I wish I felt the same way...it would make the loss easier to swallow

Congrats to Rutgers indeed.  The game was definitely winnable but I guess we didn't want it enough to make any adjustments.

I wouldn't say the better team won...... I would say the better coached team won.

It's college football........the better team doesn't always win.  The more prepared team wins that week.

Is Stanford a better team than USC because Stanford beat USC.  No.

We did not execute plays properly, we did not protect the pocket, we did not take advantage of turnovers, etc -

WE WERE NOT PREPARED!!

when i say "better team" it refers to the game itself, in which the team that played better won, which means they were the better team. and they played better in every single phase of the game.

RU seems so much more deciplined, and seem to execute well.

with our talent if our coaches could get our guy's to play with that deciplin evry TO would = a TD

When a team bludgeons you with the run 3 years in a row and beats you 2 years in a row (no matter how), they are better than your team.  It sucks, but that is the way it is until next year.

We (USF as a whole) are Ray Rice's B*****.

Better team my azz!!! Using two trick plays shows you that Rutgers had a fluky win. USF would win this going away on a neutral field with neutral refs.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
