Then you got caught up in all the hype of the #2 ranking. But really winning the Big East would still be a huge achievment. We still have a good chance of winning the Big East. We can still go out and win the rest of our games and make it to a BCS game. I am still proud of what our Bulls have accomplished over the past few months. If anyone would have told me that a loss to Rutgers would drop us out of the top 2, I dont think that I would have been able to fathom that. Anyways, If we win out, we'll probably spend New Years in Miami or in New Orleans.I'll take that...

Go Mountaineers!--JoeyIf Rutgers wins out, they'd still have 2 losses on the season. That means if we both win out, 2 BE teams may get BCS bids, because we'll be a one-loss team likely still ranked in the top-12 and ironically ahead of Rutgers. In addition, depending on who is available for at-large bids, I can tell you that the Orange Bowl committee would love to have us play in their game, and would likely pick us over Rutgers (if they can... they get first pick this year, and if there's a rule allowing them to defer the automatic BCS bid to the Big East champ to another bowl, I'm sure they would). They know BC and Rutgers don't travel well, and they know we would travel well (certainly if no other time than in-state). I'd say that if we win out, we're in all likelihood looking at an Orange Bowl bid (which would be AMAZING), despite whether it's WVU or Rutgers that wins out. (only 1 is a BE loss).
