Paraphrasing:  My players don't have the talent to beat Top 10 teams like USF.

The sad part is that I agree with you.  I've grown tired of his uncanny ability to throw someone under the bus.

These are entirely his kids now, aren't they? Any of Kruz's left over?

Not only he throws the team under the bus but the fan base as well from what I was reading on your board.  By contrast everytime a reporter points out to CJL how Tampa is now rallying behind USF he always replies "Tampa has always been great to us", even though he could have admitted how we had little support in attendance and in the local media.

If they don't have the "contact talent" on the team...whose fault do you think that is? Maybe the guy who recruited them needs to take a look in the mirror....

As much as it's fun to watch as a Bulls fan....as a college football fan....UCF deserves better than this. There is substantial potential within the school and fanbase. They need a coach who will have them competitive and well positioned to capitalize on the next conference shake-up. The way this guy talks, it sounds like he's saying "hey...we're UCF, this is as good as it's going to get given what we are". Unfortunately, the contract extension he has means that you're tied into him for the long haul.....big mistake. UCF better figure things out soon because FAU is doing a great job and may present some stiff competition come the next conference re-alignment in a few years.

A few more seasons(3 I think) and he can be canned.

I realize that the week after a loss is always tough...but just curious...what's the buzz on campus and around the program regarding these type of comments from their coach? Are ppl up in arms, puzzled, understanding?

For the sake of UCF I hope they don't have to wait 3 seasons.

What an ******* comment. Look for his players to disrespect him as much as he did them.  Does he not realize all of these players have grown up in the same high school systems as our USF players?  They don;t want to hear that they are less talented.  That is a shot to the nuts for an athlete that lays it all on the line week in and week out for you.

O'Liar has to throw his players under the bus. He's too big to fit under it himself.  ;D
