I never knew the answer to this. How is the National Championship selected? Is it whomever is #1 and #2 automatically based on BCS computer? Or Votes? Or Both?

#1 vs #2 in the BCS -- the average of both human polls and the computers -- are in the NCG.

If the season ended today, it would be USF vs Ohio State.

All we can do is take care of business... The computers will be good to us...  With that said the Human polls will not be kind to us...  LSU and Oklahoma with one loss will both jump over us... You can be sure that in order to jump us at the end the coaches poll will bump them over us.. No worries... Just win and whatever will be will be!

well, i think the human voters are being pretty kind to us right now. lots of first place votes. as long as we keep winning impressively, we'll be fine. and with that being said, that means we have to beat down Rutgers if we really want a legitimate shot at the title game. or, just hope everyone else loses again.

I agrree, Once you get a vote for number one from a perticular voter, its hard for them to turn around and vote someone else over you when you win, as long as its not nail-biter like the FAU game.

basically we have to run up the score in every game to have a shot.

64-12 type situations is what we need 6 more times

Also, UCF winning every game (and C-USA) would help us greatly as well.

Basically, EVERY team we beat needs to win out!
