I'm glad I record this every day so I can catch it later.  There was a good shot of Grothe throwing a long pass against Rutgers (looked like one of the end of the game pays - and the field was painted for USF!!) during the opening segment where they introduced the Big East poll.

They also had a segment on Steve Slaton and Pat White from Big East media days...

The question was asked at the end of the show... part of "Live Feedback" during the "Extra Points" segment.

Tom from Baton Rouge, LA asked the question... the graphic read ... "Which team has a better shot to win its conference? USF, GT or UCLA?"

Joe Schad answered:  "So glad you brought up the Bulls. They are my sleeper team for this year.  They are my Wake Forest; they are my Rutgers.  Great Quarterback in Matt Grothe.  They might win the the Big East."

Rece Davis replied, "They've got a big one coming up the 2nd week of the season, they get to go to Auburn..."

At which point my DVR cut off ...

Still, nice to hear some good stuff on the Bulls.

Rece Davis asked Joe Schad which, out of these three teams would most like win their conference: USF, UT and I forgot the other one

Joe Schad said that USF was his dark horse, like Wake Forest and Rutgers of last year, and that Matt Grothe is a big time player.

That was only for the first week... Tonight, ESPN is showing the Phillies @ Cubs game, which started at 7pm.

It looks like it will be on at 11:00pm on ESPNU, tho.
