Have reservations for Hampton Inn in Columbus but if I can wrangle my way on to the USF travel bus in Montgomery I'm gonna stay in Montgomery.  Person I'm meeting at the game is checking on bus access.

I booked a room in the Best Western a mile from the stadium on South College St. just the other day... had a good AAA rating too... guess I got lucky.

For those staying in Columbus who aren't necessarily committed to the Hampton Inn, consider going through Priceline.com. I was able to get the Courtyard by Marriott for $55.00 per night by naming my own price. If you se the right strategy, you can know exaclty what hotel you are going to get and save substantial $$$.

That's a good price considering the friends&family rate is $59 plus tax.

Like $90 a night.  Bringing friends along, so it cut the price down so it didn't matter any
