Much better gameplay, but I miss the mascots.  06 was fun.  07 was a wash because they wanted to hurry and put something out for th release of 360

I'm simulating a season on my PS2... so far I like the game, but it's very similar to 07.

i have 360, and after the little bit that I've played, it is MUCH better than 07. Just the new recruiting system alone makes it worth the $$$, not to mention the "smoother" gameplay. The play selection and audible screens are going to take some getting used to, but overall, it's MUCH more in depth.

I'm simulating a season on my PS2... so far I like the game, but it's very similar to 07.

Game 1

USF defeats Elon 48-6

Some highlights:

Grothe goes 15 for 25 for 305 yards (longest - 60), 4 tds and (gulp) 4 INTs.  Sacked 4 times, too.

Plancher leads in rushing, 30 yards on 6 carries

Amarri goes crazy, 5 receptions for 166 yards and 2 TDs.  Taurus also has 5 for 92 and 2 TDs, plus a TD on a kick return.

8 sacks by 7 players on D.  4 INTs by 4 different players.

How 'bout the Auburn Game?

Whats the score on that?!?!!? Anyone play it yet?

Playing it right now... USF is up 28-20 in the 3rd, but Auburn is driving inside the 20 now...

Voss!! i bet thats it.

Gregory, could he maybe be the safety #15? Or maybe they mixed up Voss and Gregory's numbers?

Wasnt there a QB who was supposed to switch to DB? Or am I on drugs?

I thought severino was #15?

But yeah...Voss is the new QB kid.  I doubt they are going to change his position.  But there was another QB kid from Lemon Bay High that they signed, and told him that they might change him to DB or something.  Your not on Drugs...
