According to scout he is considering transferring because his grandma (who raised him) is sick and he wants to be closer to home.

I respect that decision. Family is important and next to faith, I don't think there much that can compete with taking care of family. Glad to see it's not because he's scared of competition.

Sounds like he might qualify for a hardship and not have to sit out if he stayed in I-A.

Troy and Southern Miss would seem to be  Div 1-A frontrunners, with Tulane being a close third.

As for Div 1-AA, it could be FAMU, Alabama St, and possibly Jackson St or Alcorn St.

Having read the article i don’t think there is anything fishy about it. One of his closest relatives is sick, so he should be close to his family. When a loved one is ill, its puts playing college football into perspective. He is a RFr, he doesn’t have to worry about pt for another year or two.
