Tribune/Times

[Infamous Bull]

Just ended my trib subcription and have been picking up the Times.  For those of you who read both how much better on USF is the Times compared to the pro Gator tribune.  I have always heard the Times is better and it wouldnt suprise me one bit.

THE Times has a better sports page, although the trib is a better Paper.... I get both.

USF coverage in the paper is about the same.  There are a few more headlines, but nothing that different.  I have heard complaints that the Trib's articles on USF tend to be more negative, but I'll leave that up to you to decide.  I think that Times is better online for USF stuff.

i dont subscribe to either, i have stands within 500 ft of my front door for both papers, so when i want to get one its right there.

if i had it delivered it would most likely just sit in my driveway 3 out of 7 days.

The Times is hands down a better overall paper in addition to having a far superior sports section. The Tribune is so bad my cats won't even piss on it.

Though most here seem to prefer the Times over the Tribune lately I feel McMurphy is making the better effort  to write "bad news" articles that are fair and balanced.  His "feel good" article about Walter Diaz so soon after his suspension are the types of journalism that USF needs to couter the "Two Players Arrested in Fight" type articles.

Don't know, I get the San Antonio Express-News (my local paper).

When I lived in Brandon, I used to get the Tampa Trib.  I thought it was the better paper, but that was 7-8 years ago...I do read the online versions of both papers
