The UCF brass at least decided on a single shade of gold(Vegas gold).  It's about time one shade was used.

I honestly think its a step back...it looks too Blah.  Doesnt stand out...

I was surprised to hear that they were changing their logo.  I didnt think there was anything wrong with the current one.

The helmet is going to be white.  Don't know what will be on it.

Thanks. I had a hard time telling the teams apart (ucf v USF) last year and as I understand it this years game will also be in the afternoon. Therefore we are looking at "light" colored uniforms again. At least white helmuts will make it easier to tell them apart.

JMHO... I think the Sword & shield logo should go on your helmuts

I think their logos look like they were designed in 10 minutes.  Doesn't look look like much thought went into them.  They're very "blocky."  I hope they didn't spend thousands of dollars on the design of their logos from some company like we did.  If so I think they got ripped off.  I think their old logo looked better than the new one.

That's not exactly encouraging. Most modern logos end up being clunky or way too busy or both. Consider:

Seems like the closer you are to bush league, the more outrageous the logo is. Look at that Mississippi Valley State logo.
