What if coaches who are currently coaching in the tourney want to apply, shouldnt they extend the deadline to the end of the tourney.

Back when I used to work for the state there was never an issue with extending the deadline; But you had a lot of hassells if you tried to hire before the deadline. Our department was not even able to setup interviews untill the deadline had past.

In a case like this I would not be surprised if they don't already know who they want and may be talking contracts under the table. But I would be surprised if we hear anything befor the 21st.
