Danny Otero pitched a gem tonight, and our hitters had timely hitting and were very patient at times.  Only thing I saw that was negative were the times we tried to bunt, but we'll be better in that aspect of the game I'm sure.  I liked the squeeze call even though it didn't work.  the execution wasn't there but it was the perfect time for it.

Lets build on this one and get Win #2 of the season tomorrow!!

Anyone know who's throwing tomorrow?

One other thing as far as our field.  That thing looked like it was in great shape tonight.  I was expecting something bad, but it looked really great.  Kudos to the baseball team for cleaning that place up.

Now, if we can just have them play 'The Bull' we'd be getting somewhere........

You can't go wrong with a Dukie and a Bull.  That is the ultimate combination  

Senior starter Danny Otero, a Duke transfer, picked up the win with seven scoreless innings. He struck out three and walked one.

Sanford and Soares bickered about it for awhile.. I think it came down to whatever equipment Bubba wanted to give them!
