Selmon initially took a six- week sabbatical Jan. 12 for what his brother Dewey Selmon told The Tampa Tribune was ``heart'' and ``stress-related'' problems. ``I'm doing great, feeling real good physically,'' Selmon told WTVT, Channel 13, on Wednesday. ``We just had that little bump in the road that required some sitting back and thinking. ``I think we all do that from time to time and [evaluate] our health situations and make sure we're doing things that can provide us a good quality of life physically for a long period of time.'' Selmon said his wife, Claybra, heavily influenced his decision to step down as USF's AD. ``She could tell some things were going on with myself,'' Selmon said. ``As we got into this, we sat down and prayed about it together as to what should we do.'' Upon resigning as USF's AD on Feb. 26, Selmon said his new job as president of the USF Foundation Partnership for Athletics would allow him to work at a ``little less stressful pace.''http://bulls.tbo.com/bulls/MGBLU6FAQUD.html
