cant really blame the kid.

First, Clemson backed off two days ago, and we had eaked ahead of WVU....it came down to FSU.

A bad choice, Jatavious is a project, a nice looking project but a project.  He's 6-3ish 270lbs but has tremendous footwork.  The kid needs about 25lbs, a lots of technique work before he would see a minute at USF let alone USF.

Quite frankly, Edenfield meets a bigger need.  This kid is a hoss of an OT, and at one point was the #1 OT, and #2 OL in FL before he tore his ACL!  He's that good.

I think Trickett, the new OL coach at FSU (was at WVU) likes smaller OL guys.  anyway, it's great to get Edenfield and several other OL recruits. Leavitt apparently said that Genus could contribute this year.  That would be interesting.  Great class.

From what I learned at the signing party at the Bull Ring, Jackson is definitely a Nole.  Wish him well.  We have good kids.
